Medication costs have skyrocketed and are a huge portion of healthcare dollars spent each year. This critical piece of the Wellness Management Program provides an analysis of drug utilization for the Client based on paid claims data for a specific period of time. Data is retrieved through online access with the Pharmacy Benefit Manager's database.

The data retrieved identifies patients who would:

1. Benefit from the Wellness Management or Case Management Programs;
2. Identify drug use trends;
3. Identify potential Stop Loss Claimants;
4. Identify those using Brand name drugs when a Generic form is available;
5. Retail versus mail-order option; and
6. potential fraud.

This program is included with the Wellness Management program or it can be utilized separately. Customized reporting is provided.
